Hi! My name is Nicole Hedrick and I am the owner and principal artist at Doodlebug face & body art. I began face painting after having my daughter’s face painted at a local event and being inspired by the beautiful design created. I realised what a vast canvas the human face is and how fantastically it can be decorated. Since then, I have made it my aim to produce outstanding designs on each face I paint.
I am continually improving by attending workshops held by leaders in the industry and by researching new products and techniques that are being used.
We only use professional products that are FDA approved and designed to be used on the skin. They are non-toxic, hypoallergenic and water based for easy removal.
We recommend removing your face paint with warm water and a mild soap or a baby wipe. If you hold the washcloth or wipe on the painted area for a few seconds before wiping it should come off easily.
Doodlebug face & body art carries Public Liability Insurance for your peace of mind.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and professional workspace at all times. All of our brushes and sponges are cleaned and thoroughly sanitised following each job.
We can only face paint those who can sit still, are happy to be painted and have clean skin, free of abrasions and eczema. For everyone’s safety, I won’t paint children who have rashes, skin infections, cold sores or illnesses such as colds, flu, gastro etc.
